Nairn

Nestling on the shores of the Moray Firth lies one of Scotland’s finest golf courses.

Nairn Golf Club is a scenic Links Golf course situated on the Moray Firth Coast in the Highlands. Established in 1887, the golf club has hosted many historic events including the Walker Cup, Curtis Cup and most recently, The Amateur Championship.

18Players were commissioned to undertake a vast digital project for Nairn which included a new website, photography and videography.

Nairn wanted to showcase their Championship & Cameron Courses, unique features and parts of the club such as their famous halfway Bothy & Ice House and Archive Room, which proudly sits within the clubhouse.

The photography offers a glimpse and a flavour to the unique setting which Nairn finds itself, with the stunning Moray Firth visible on every hole you play at the course. A mixture of ground and aerial shots at different really help bring the course to life and show the different bumps, lumps and terrains on this world-class links course.

We also produced a club promotional video as well as a video highlighting the Bothy & Icehouse which sit at the halfway point of your round at Nairn, and is one of the most unique features on a golf course in the world.

Nairn are extremely proud of their place within the Junior game and being able to offer the people within the town the opportunity to take up the beautiful game. This is captured in our short video of the Cameron Course, a nine hole course which is a fun course used for people’s first steps on a golf course or to warm up ahead of your round on the Championship Course.

A unique style of video, our hole promotional videos bring the course to your fingertips and offer a different aspect to the course than a traditional flyover. Offering a mixture of aerial and ground shots from the golfer’s perspective, these videos help you picture yourself out on the course and wet your appetite ahead of your round there.

All of the above is incorporated in to the club’s new website which showcases the brilliant on and off course experience when you visit the Highlands.
