The NCG Top 100s Tour was born in 2018 to give National Club Golfer readers the chance to play, compete and win on some of the finest courses across England on the back of the NCG Top 100s ranking lists.

In 2019, the number of Tour events more than doubled that of 2018 as it expanded beyond the border with five events in Scotland.
2020 saw the Tour become bigger and better than ever as we handpicked our favourite venues from the NCG Top 100s GB&I ranking list, guaranteeing entrants a quality venue and a never-to-be-forgotten experience.
After the successful running of the events in 2020 during the COVID-19 pandemic, the Tour was expanded with 40 events across the Summer months as well as a Summer Matchplay and a Winter Matchplay competition being held for the first time.
For the first time the Tour schedule featured courses currently on the Open rota with Royal Birkdale, Royal Lytham and the Ailsa Course, Trump Turnberry all hosting an event.

National Club Golfer
National Club Golfer offers a variety of avenues for our marketing efforts with many of our strategies revolving around in-house activity.
We created content around our events using SEO strategies to target people who were searching for golf breaks and packages on Google and to reach our NCG online readership with over 1 million page views per month.
National Club Golfer has over 150,000 followers across Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram and our event content feature heavily throughout the content plans.

The National Club Golfer magazine is still the UK’s most-read golf magazine with every golf club receiving a copy. We ensure our Tour and Matchplay events have at least a single page advert in every edition.
National Club Golfer and Lady Golfer Databases
Both our leading titles have large databases to target golfers who predominantly live in the UK, the perfect tool to hit them with any offers or reminders about the Top 100s Tour events.
Due to the success of the Tour, we have been able to progressively build a sizeable audience that we can send dedicated emails to under the NCG Top 100s Tour brand including offers, surveys and other reminders.
Organic Social Media
We ensure we have a consistent social media feed across Twitter, Facebook and, Instagram on our NCG Top 100s accounts.
Facebook is one of our main sources of interaction with the NCG Top 100s Tour page becoming a hub for our competitors to interact on our posts.
For the 2021 schedule, we have been capturing special moments for players with a dedicated content producer at every event to produce our social media output, photograph library and a video to wrap up each swing to be used in our fut
As part of our expansion in 2021, we decided to take control of our website and develop it in-house to create a smarter and more user-friendly experience for our competitors.
We now have the ability to create packages on the website so users can book our grouped events all in one go and also book accommodation packages should they require them.
We predominantly use Facebook Ads to reach new audiences through the targeting options that Facebook allows.
We have also set up tracking codes in our website so we can retarget particular people and clone audiences so we are targeting the right pepole.
We ensure we use our vast contacts of companies in the golf industry who we can use to help reach a wider audience and spread the word about the NCG Top 100s events.
Surveys & Reviews
To ensure we are continually moving in the right direction, we send out a survey to people to rate their experience so we can plan ahead for future years and tailor our events to our competitors’ needs.
We also ensure our reviews from our Trustpilot page a prominent in our marketing activity as the Tour is rated excellent on the review website.
