The West Yorkshire-based agency have created a brand-new website, featuring e-commerce platform for one of the world’s most famous golf clubs.

Golf-specialist creative agency 18Players have completed work on a website project for Royal Dornoch.

The Highlands club were looking to create a better user experience and modernise their website offering which also documented the history of the golf club.

18Players created a bespoke solution that focuses attention on the two links courses at Royal Dornoch throughout the website with the use of large imagery and video.

The club are understandably proud of their history with the club able to trace its roots back to the 17th century. A key focus was on creating a timeline that demonstrated Royal Dornoch’s standing within the world of golf in a digestible fashion.

The website project also features an e-commerce shop, a key feature for the golf club that attracts visitors from all over the world.

Royal Dornoch’s General manager Neil Hampton is delighted with the outcome of the project and said: “The new website offers a more contemporary look and has been designed to be user friendly for our membership at home and abroad, in addition to golfers planning a visit and the growing number of browsers attracted by our status as one of the world’s finest links.”

The project adds to 18Players’ every-growing portfolio of website clients that also includes Royal Birkdale, Nairn, Alwoodley, and Gullane.
