18Players recently became the social media partner of the 15-time Open Championship venue, Royal St. George’s
Colin Sinclair is one of my favourite people in golf.
A CV boasting leadership roles at Carnoustie, Nairn and now Royal St. George’s, where he is the new Secretary, is impressive – but he’s also a PGA Professional and owner of the coolest MacKenzie bag on earth.
Having played golf with Colin, I marvelled at his swing and ball-striking and general mastery of the game.
We worked with Colin during his time at Nairn, running the club’s social media channels and providing engaging content that helped increase their following by over 4,000 across their social platforms.
We are continuing to work with the Highlands club, including creating a new website, which will be live in the very near future.
When Colin moved some 500 miles south to the Kent coast, it was a real honour for us to be asked to work with him at such a historic club.
We have recently taken over the management of their social media channels and are working with Colin and Rob Leigh in the office, plus their larger-than-life course manager Paul Larsen.
We are sure we can bring a fresh look and feel to the club’s content – and we have certainly got some great material to work with.
“We are delighted to continue working with 18Players at Royal St George’s,” said Colin. “Having previously worked with the team, I was confident they could help boost our engagement levels on our social media channels here at Royal St George’s.”
